Manufactured from quality redwood pine, all timber is kiln dried and placed in an oven where a powerful compressor removes the air. At 215 degrees C the timber is baked which not only gives the timber a nice consistent colour throughout but also seals the capillaries, destroys resins and proteins and stabilises the timber. This means it can be left untreated for longer and that any wood treatment you apply applies much easier, lasting in turn up to 3 times longer than wood that has not been treated. Post treatment, all bacteria is killed, resulting in a sterile material, and durability is improved against decay with greater dimensional stability also. Thermal conductivity is also reduced. A great choice for allergy sufferers, this greenhouse has been enginereed to last and comes complete with a 10 year warranty on the frame and base. It is also ideal for those with young children or grandchildren as 3mm toughened safety glass has been supplied as standard. The redwood pine glazing bars are 58mm x 32mm finished size. All boards are 12mm finish tongued and grooved and fixed with stainless steel nails. All the timber is thermally modified to remove impurities and to prolong life. The inward opening door has a mortise lock and aluminium handles. Glazing is 3mm toughened safety glass. All the glazing is slid into a groove and sealed with quality silicone. All the cut shapes are jointed with a clear plastic H section. Each roof vent has an Automatic opener. Full length staging included down one side with centre support (width 520mm, height 745mm). There is a specially turned apex finial for that classic look. The ridge and top vents are sealed with a specially machined timber capping. 25mm black PVC damp barrier screwed to the base.
