Dinitrol 3125 HS is a specially formulated wax which penetrates rust and dirt preventing further corrosion. Use on open surfaces or cavities. Even damp and dirty surfaces will not affect its superb performance. Dinitrol 3125 HS will not crack, chip or peel and is designed for application to internal and external surfaces of cars, trucks and busses. The product is particularly suitable for use on old vehicles where corrosion is evident on e g the underbody. Ideal for vertical surfaces, if you are planning on using on the inner chassis rails then please consider Dinitrol ML or 1000 as these products offer better creeping properties. Severely attacked areas can be applied in combination with Dinitrol ML (S330) for greater effect. Available in 500ml (Aerosol) and 1 litre . Method of use: Dinitrol 3125 HS is applied by spraying with manual or semi-automatic application equipment, and is suitable for either airmixed or airless spraying. To clean use white spirit or solvent and elbow grease. Not recommended to thin it down with anything. Store in dry conditions away from other combustible materials, heat and direct sunlight. It should not be stored at a temperature above 30 degC. If stored at low temperature the container should be held at a temperature of 15 to 25 deg C for 24 hours before use. Application temperature should be between 15 and 30 degC. Application : Steam clean the underneath of the vehicle and allow to dry, remove any flaking rust and mask up any areas where you do not want the wax to go, time consuming but well worth the effort as it is difficult to remove any unwanted overspray later. Treat any surface rust with the rust converter, once it has turned black proceed to treat the cavities with the cavity wax also giving a fine coating of cavity wax to the underbody of the vehicle with any you have left over as it contains rust inhibitors. Leave overnight to dry and then apply the underbody coating (4941) , this will dry to a leave a finger print in it type finish as it remains soft underneath so it can migrate and reseal itself when it gets a stone chip.
