Chrome Stripper Starter Kit removes chrome from iron, steel, brass and cooper. Not suitable for aluminium When using this product please be aware that the solution will work quickly and bubbles will start to form almost immediately and the liquid will turn from being clear to green, if this does not happen then your item is probably not chrome or has been treated with a top coat of something that will need to be removed first. Chromed items have usually got a nickel base which when the chrome has been stripped leaves the nickel exposed and this is usually is a shiny surface which can be mistaken for a chrome surface and therefore looks like the chrome has not been removed.
