The heavy-duty die-cast blade guard has a unique indexed handle rotation system that allows the handle to swivel up to 120 degrees around the base. This adjustment enables access to regions where a regular fixed-handle metal saw wouldn\'t be able to reach. The blade alignment lines on the metal base plate are precision laser-etched to allow the operator to make accurate cuts on the inside or outside of a scribe line. Starting with a plunge cut, making a scroll cut, or cutting through multi-layered panels are all simple tasks for the Panel Saw. Quick-set depth gauge - Allows user to precisely set blade depth to cut only the top panel for repair while avoiding damage to the lower panel.
