Sini-Medik LIGASANO Dressing Plate How to use: - post-operative dressing: depending on the wound, Ligasano is used with a thickness of 0.5 to 2cm, and it is cut so as to cover the wound for 3-4 cm over the edges. It is fixed with a light pressure and can be adapted to any irregularity of the wound and to ensure contact with it. The secretions produced are absorbed by Ligasano thus avoiding secondary infections. The replacement must be performed at the latest when the secretion appears visible on the surface of the dressing. - Treatment of ulcers: the ulcer is filled with Ligasano and then covered with a further layer of Ligasano so as to go beyond the edges of 3-4 cm. Then proceed as for postoperative medications. In this way a mechanical effect is obtained, in sync with the movement of the body, which acts on the wound, stimulating the emission of the secretion, the absorption of the germs and accelerated granulation. - Treatment of the crural ulcer: the Ligasano lamina is applied according to the configuration of the ulcer, always exceeding the edges of the lesion by 3-4 cm. On the venous ulcer a robust elastic bandage is applied, starting from the metatarsus, which intensifies the mechanical effect of Ligasano on one side, and also improves the venous reflux. In the arterial ulcer, on the other hand, it is absolutely necessary to renounce this additional bandage. In this case Ligasano is fixed with a modest compression, for example with strips of plaster or with a gauze bandage. The Ligasano bandages that do not move even if the bandage is loose are also very suitable for this purpose, and that they also exert a stimulation of the blood circulation on the entire leg. - Treatment of extensive lesions (burns - excoriations): this type of lesion is treated with Ligasano mainly for the mechanical debridement that it exerts at the level of the support parts of the body. Features: available in different shapes and sizes, from 2x1 m support to tablets and bandages. Can be cut with scissors and brought to any shape and size required: the edges will always remain smooth. It can be superimposed in different layers that do not move and keep the absorbing power up to the last layer. It is available both in sterile and non-sterile form.
