Farmaceutica-Zabban Farmactive Gel Hydrogel 15g Farmactive gel is a sterile amorphous hydrogel based on hydrophilic polymers with a high water content in a tube that is applied to the wound and covered with an occlusive dressing, contributes to the elimination of necrotic tissues and protects the cavity and promotes healing. It is used for bedsores, wounds with cavities, ulcers of the lower limbs and diabetic foot and for skin transplant sites. The gel should be applied to the wound and covered with a secondary occlusive esterile dressing. The high viscosity of the gel prevents it from expanding outside the wound or cavity and the high water content provides a calming and refreshing effect for greater patient comfort.
