A very wide field of view makes theses binoculars ideal sporting events, sightseeing and appreciating the great outdoors.The main feature of these binoculars is the excellent field of view thanks to the 50mm lenses, but there are many other features that makes them great value. The rubber armouring mean they can survive the rigours of outdoor use pretty well but you can also use them with a tripod. If you wear glasses the eye relief (the distance you can have them away from your eyes) is 17.8mm - enough for thicker glasses - and you can roll down the eye cups. They have a hinge to adjust for the distance between your eyes and also a right eye diopter that allows you to compensate for any differences in the strength between your left and right eye. Once you have adjusted for this you can use the the centre focus knob.
