The Dial: One of the most significant visual changes that distinguishes it from the traditional Aikon is the smooth finish on the dial. This finish is known as sun-brushed, giving off the same effect as if the sun was striking the dial. The silver, elegant, applied hour markers are rectangular in shape, which adds a touch of class to the dial, which equally underscores the craftsmanship behind this mode. Likewise, the silver sword hands are made from rhodium, which is a platinum based material renowned for its highly reflective and resistant qualities. Vibrant dashes of red form a motif that is present throughout the dial, they can be seen on the seconds hand and on the hands on two of the sub dials. Arguably the most definitive feature of the dial is the 3 snailed counter chronograph sub dials. The Maurice Lacroix logo is present besides the 3 o’clock mark, whilst a date window is present above 6 o’clock. The Strap: The green leather strap imparts an instantly recognisable appearance to this timepiece. The crocodile leather style strap is equally as robust as it is comfortable. Green stitching runs around the edge of the strap, whilst an applied Maurice Lacroix logo sits proudly on the strap. Also, it fastens easily using a stainless steel butterfly clasp. Functions: The piece features a traditional look: a three-hand display with a chronograph, day-date function and updated movement. The chronograph function is  perfect for measuring a run in the park. The chronograph used on this watch has an accuracy down to a tenth of a second (seen at 12 o’clock). Also it has a measuring capacity of 30 minutes (seen at nine o’clock). Furthermore, the sub-dial seen at 6 o’clock is a small seconds display which again is common amongst classical watches.
