The Case: Simple, balanced, well executed and with a slight retro touch, the Eliros EL1118-SS002-410-2 is easy to wear and appropriate with probably any type of dress code. The silver stainless steel case measures in at 40mm in diameter and features a polished finish. A crown positioned at the 3 o’clock position finishes of the dial brilliantly. Sat flush with the case is sapphire crystal glass which is known for its classy yet hard properties. The Dial: A blue sunburst dial immediately catches the eye on this piece. The sunburst design is so called because the dial looks like it has been struck by the suns rays and left a lasting impression. Both the indexes and hands are made from the material of rhodium. Rhodium plating is particularly important to the preservation, durability and corrosion-resistance. At each three hour interval is a Roman numeral index which adds a small yet classy feel to the dial. Rounding off the dial is the ever present Maurice Lacroix logo and a simplistic dial window. A sliding clasp can be easily fastened to secure the piece around your wirst. Functions: The watch is powered by a quartz movement, which is also known as a battery. The module used in particular is the F06.111 which has a battery life of at least five years. Furthermore, once the crown is pulled out the second hand will pause, allowing for ultimate precision.
