Since making the first diver\'s watch in 1965, Seiko has continued to develop a rich heritage of producing dependable innovative timepieces for sports lovers and adventure seekers, in the water. A black dial is complimented by indexes and hands which in turn are coated in a LumiBrite material to allow for easy visibility at the dark depths of the ocean. The hands are powered by a precise 7C46 caliber quartz which has an accuracy of +-15 seconds per month and a life of 5 years. Also powered by the 7C46 is a day and date window which can be found at the 3 o\'clock position. At the 12 o\'clock position is the ever present Seiko logo with the family, Prospex found at the opposite end. Sat ontop of the dial is sapphire crystal glass which is coated in an anti reflective substance to avoid glare from torches when diving. The case is made from a combination of zirconia ceramic and titanium with a rose gold PVD plating. The case has four deep groves resembling that of a shark bite which allows for easy grip when wearing diving gloves. The crown is uniquely located at the 4 o\'clock position to reduce the likelihood of knocking it out of position. A black silicone strap in the style of an accordion can the be fastened using a standard buckle to sit comfortably around your wrist. This watch has a water resistance of 1000 metres, making it suitable for diving. Not only is the watch capable of recreational scuba diving, the watch can also withstand the depths achieved when deep sea diving.
