Plexiglass sits on top of the case to allow for peerless levels of resistance to any potential knocks and bumps. It has been treated with a SICRALAN coating to ensure for greater legibility and scratch resistance. The Dial: The subtle matte light grey dial retains the minimalistic design of the watch, it is decorated with slender indices and environmentally friendly luminous filled hands to ensure optimal reading in the dark. The Junghans’ logo is present beneath the 12 o’clock marker. The Strap: The Milanese style strap is crafted from lightweight titanium, which allows for optimal comfort when on the wrist. It fastens easily using a titanium folding buckle. The Functions: The radio-controlled solar movement J101.85 is kept hidden behind a screw down case back and is powered by light exposed on the matte light grey dial. It has a water resistance of 30 metres, making it suitable to being exposed to light splashes.
