The case is completed by an oversized knurled crown that has been embossed with the MeisterSinger logo. The addition of domed sapphire crystal glass is representative of the quality of this timepiece, it also   imparts an authentic vintage feel on to the watch. In addition, sapphire crystal glass is renowned for its resilience, second only to diamond in its durability. The sixfold screwed exhibition case back, that allows the wearer to view the inner mechanisms, also consists of the same sapphire crystal glass. The Strap: The brown calf leather strap features a vintage-looking crocodile grain. It features two lines of stitching on either side as well as being fastened using a standard buckle according to your needs. The Dial: The alluring black dial consists of a two step design, with the inner dial displaying the days of the week in the form of zodiac signs, paying homage to the heavenly bodies that have been attributed to the various days since ancient times. Golden Arabic numerals occupy the outer edge of the dial, allowing for easy reading of time, while a white 60-minute track meanders around the dial. A date window is also present above the 6 o’clock marker. An oversized white hour hand takes the centre stage of the dial, which allows optimal clarity when displaying the time. The Functions: The Astroscope is powered by Selita SW 220 caliber movement. It is a Swiss automatic movement that consists of 26 Jewells, providing the watch with 38 hours of power reserve.
