Seiko 5 Sports Street Fighter Guile Camouflage Dial Brown Leather Strap SRPF21K1 Mens Watch The Case: This case of this Seiko 5 Sports Street Fighter Guile SRPF21K1 is characterised by its militaristic design, which is inspired by Guile’s US Air Force background. The dial is crafted from gun metal grey stainless steel. It has been topped with an olive green bezel that consists of 60-minute countdown, which is feature often found on military-issue watches. The knurled edges of the bezel allow for easy grip when rotating. A crown is present at 4 o’clock, it is protected by a crown guard. On the back of the case there is an inscribing of the controller command for Guile’s signature move, the ‘Sonic Boom’. Also on the case back are the Street Fighter logo and the serial number of the model. The Dial: The dial is very much influenced by the key elements of Guile’s US Air Force uniform, the watch features a green-camouflage dial. The U.S Air Force logo replaces the 6 o’clock marker, while a dog tag belonging to his best friend, Charlie Nash, replaces the 9 o’clock marker. A silver handset occupies the centre of the dial. A day date window replaces the 3 o’clock marker. The ever-present Seiko 5 Sports logo is situated beneath the 12 o’clock marker. The Strap: The watch comes on a highly functional brown leather strap with contrasting white stitching. It fastens easily using a standard buckle. The Functions: The Seiko 5 Sports range boast Seiko’s new upgraded 4R36 automatic. It is the same movement that is found in more expensive Seiko models, such as the ‘Turtle’ that belongs to the Prospex range. The movement consists of 24 jewels and it operates at 21,600 beats per hour. This ensures the watch has 40 hours of power reserve. It includes Seiko Diashock, which essentially protects the inner mechanisms from any damage the watch may sustain if it were to be dropped or knocked. It is expected to either gain or loose between +45 / -35 seconds per day. Finally, this watch has a water resistance of 100 metres, making it suitable for swimming and snorkelling.
