Seiko 5 Sports Street Fighter \'Ken\' Automatic Black Dial Red Nylon Strap Mens Watch SRPF20K1 The Case: The striking colouration of the case belonging to the Seiko 5 Sports Street Fighter \'Ken\' SRPF20K1 draws inspiration from Ken’s costume and blond hair. The dial is crafted from gun metal grey stainless steel and it has been topped with a black bezel consists of eye-catching red increments and unmistakable golden knurled edges. The case also features a golden crown at the 4 o’clock position. On the back of the case there is an inscribing of the controller command for Ken’s signature move, the ‘Shoryuken’. Also the Street Fighter logo and the serial number of the model are present on the case back. The Dial: Ken’s hair and costume have been captured in the dial’s colour scheme. There is a subtle intricate dial patterning that reveals itself when it meets the light, the red accents vivify the nightly dial. A mixture of circular, block and pointed hour markers run around the outer edge of the dial, while a golden handset occupies the centre of the dial. A day date window replaces the 3 o’clock marker. The ever-present Seiko 5 Sports logo is situated beneath the 12 o’clock marker. The Strap: The bold red nylon strap is a fitting accompaniment to the red accents present throughout the bezel and the dial. On the reverse side of the strap end is the logo of the Masters Foundation, which is one of the leading companies in the game. Ken is also the son of the Masters Family, the logo shows another side to his identity. It fastens easily using a standard buckle. The Functions: The Seiko 5 Sports range boast Seiko’s new upgraded 4R36 automatic. It is the same movement that is found in more expensive Seiko models, such as the ‘Turtle’ that belongs to the Prospex range. The movement consists of 24 jewels and it operates at 21,600 beats per hour. This ensures the watch has 40 hours of power reserve. It includes Seiko Diashock, which essentially protects the inner mechanisms from any damage the watch may sustain if it were to be dropped or knocked. It is expected to either gain or loose between +45 / -35 seconds per day. Finally, this watch has a water resistance of 100 metres, making it suitable for swimming and snorkelling.
