The black matte finish imparts a rough and ready feel on to the watch. At the 3 o’clock position is the crown which once pulled out can be used to tell the time. Furthermore, the ever present Hamilton logo has been embossed on the side of the crown. Sitting in line with the case is glass made from a strong sapphire crystal material. The Dial: The black dial is complemented well by the white Arabic indexes and the old radium colour hands. The hands as well as some triangular indexes around the very edge of the dial are coated in a Super-LumiNova material which allows for easy visibility at night. The time can be easily read with a three hand display as well as a 12 and 24 hour display. Additionally, the Hamilton logo can be seen towards the centre of the dial.
