Luminox Wall Clock Black Plastic XL.BIG.40 The Case: The Luminox Wall Clock XL.BIG.40 is inspired by the design of the Luminox Navy Seal wristwatches. The clock is made from black plastic and it measures 400mm in diameter. It flaunts the same rugged design features as the battle-proven wristwatches, as it exhibits a fixed bezel with sharp coined walls. It displays a 60-minute scale with increments of 5-minutes that are presented in white. A Luminox Light Technology (LIT) micro gas tube is present at the 60-minute mark on the bezel, this self powered illumination system is unique to Luminox. It ensures that Luminox products remain always visible as they are produced from superior quality materials and are manufactured under innovative Swiss-made precision. This technology ensures that Luminox products remain always visible for up to 25 years. Located at the side of the case there is an oversized crown that is protected by an angular crown guard that attributes to the sharp robust aesthetics of this clock. The Dial: The design of the dial pays homage to the signature look of the Luminox Navy Seal wrist watches, with legibility proving to be a central requirement. This is ensured through the stark contrasting precision of the white arabic numerals set against the backdrop of the black dial. The 12 and 24-hour time is displayed on the dial; the Luminox logo replaces the 24-hour marker. A chapter ring is located at the outer edge of the dial, it exhibits a 60-minute scale with increments of one minute, as well as 12 LIT micro gas tubes to ensure that the dial remains always visible. In the centre of the dial there is a white syringe style handset that features two LIT micro gas tubes. The tip of the second hand also displays another LIT micro gas tube, so that in the dark the clock comes to life emitting bright colours that look perfect in any man cave.
