Seiko Prospex \'Samurai\' PADI Automatic Black Dial Stainless Steel Bracelet Men’s Watch SRPF09K1 The Case: Crafted from stainless steel and measuring in at 43.8mm, the case looks and feels robust. The tapered, clean-cut edges of the Seiko Prospex \'Samurai\' SRPF09K1 resemble the razor sharp edges of a \'Katana\' bestowing it with its ‘Samurai’ nickname. The brushed finish on the steel provides this model with a quintessential tool watch feel. The compact design allows it to sit comfortably on the wrist, as the lugs and the end-link of the bracelet meet just at the edge of the bezel. An oversized screw down crown is also present besides the 3 o’clock mark and is protected by a crown guard. A bi-coloured blue and red uni-directional rotating bezel sits on top of the case, giving it it’s ‘Pepsi’ nickname. The bezel features a 60-minute track with a lume pip at the 12 o’clock mark. A stainless steel screw down case back has been specially engraved. The Dial: The black patterned wave dial is a pertinent reminder to the wearer of this watch\'s relationship with the ocean and PADI. The dial consists of deeply applied silver indices and a striking handset that is composed of wind arrow hour hand and a thin pointed minuted hand with a red outline. The seconds hand features a red needle tip to allow for more accurate reading of the time. A date window replaces the 3 o\'clock marker, whilst the Seiko Prospex logo is situated neatly beneath the 12 o\'clock marker This beautiful dial is protected by hardlex glass. The Bracelet: The bracelet is made from stainless steel and comes fashioned in a classic three-link oyster style. The simplistic design of the oyster bracelet was was first introduced by Rolex in 1948 and it since been closely associated with dive watches, due to their unadultered utilitarian character. The bracelet fastens using a three fold clasp with a secure lock, to ensure it remains upon the wearer’s wrist. The Features: Seiko’s exclusive 4R35 automatic movement powers this timepiece. It is a self-winding calibre with manual-winding capacity and a hacking-seconds features. This movement has a 41 hour power reserve and it consists of 23 jewels and it beats at 21,600vph.
