Luminox Atacama Adventurer Field 1760 Series Watch XL.1767 The Case: Luminox Adventurer Watch XL.1767 Field Automatic Green Khaki Strap has a sporty 42mm case is made from 316L grade stainless steel and has been finished in a PVD coating to give it a rugged and utilitarian look ready to take on any adventure. The unique case design provides nice symmetry as the shape of the crown guards have been carried over to the left hand side of the case. Emerging from the crown guards, a screw down crown is positioned at the 3 o’clock position. The ultra scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass offers ultimate protection, as it is second only to diamond in terms of its hardness. On the back of the watch is a screw down caseback featuring an embossed compass to remind the wearer to get outside and start exploring the world. The Dial: The khaki green desert dial has an eye-catching appeal, as it has been given a textured finish. Red touches have been sparingly used throughout the dial to tie in the Luminox DNA and logo. The obelisque minute and hour hands provide simple legibility. Above the 6 o’clock marker is a sub dial to display the running seconds, featuring a unique double arrowed hand. The dial features the Luminox Light Technology which is tiny gas lights that constantly glow for up to 25 years without needing to be charged by sunlight. The date is also present at the 3 o’clock position. The Strap: Between the 22mm lugs is a green khaki strap with green stitching. The traditional pin buckle is etched with the Luminox logo. The Functions: This watch is powered by a Swiss Quartz movement providing a reliable -0.5 to +0.7 seconds a day tolerance. The watch features a sub-seconds complication placing the seconds hand on the lower section of the dial. The date is also featured at the 3 o’clock position.
