Seiko 5 Sports Boruto & Naruto: Automatic Grey Dial Black Nylon Strap Men\'s Watch SRPF65K1 Introducing one of seven watch designs inspired by the creative world of internationally renowned Japanese manga and anime: Naruto & Boruto. Echoing the stories based on personal, moral and social development, each timepiece represents one of the seven key different Ninja characters through the dial and bezel colour combination. All feature a stylish co-ordinating Nato nylon strap. This design is representative of the Baruto character from the stories, Naruto’s son who is training as a ninja to overtake his father. For over 50 years, Seiko 5 Sports has delivered consistently high levels of reliability, durability, performance and value, endearing them to lovers of mechanical watches worldwide. Today, with a new design, this much-loved timepiece is re-born. ‘’5’’ represents the original five key attributes of every Seiko 5 watch: Automatic movement, Day-date display at the three o’clock position, Water Resistance, Recessed crown at the four o’clock position and Durable case and bracelet – features still present today. The Case: The 42.5mm silver case of this Seiko 5 Sports Boruto SRPF65K1 model is made from brushed  stainless steel, which offers the wearer unparalleled levels of anti-corrosiveness, as well as ensuring greater shine longevity. Hardlex glass has also been used in order to provide further protection. There is also a non-screw down crown present besides the 4 o’clock marker, which allows the watch to sit comfortably upon the wearer’s wrist. A unidirectional rotating bezel sits on top of the case, it also features a brushed finish. The case back is transparent, which allows the wearer to view the inner mechanisms of the timepiece. On the case back there is also an inscribing of Boruto’s Uzumaki Clan\'s Kamon, as well as the serial number of the model as it is limited to just 6,500 pieces. The Dial: The design of the dial reflects Boruto’s father, Naruto’s, Jutsu “Rasengan”, it incorporates a unique black spiral pattern. White circular hour markers occupy the outer edge of the dial, the 12 o’clock marker is encased by a silver hexagon. Each marker is filled with a lumibrite material which allows for nighttime visibility. A day date window replaces the 3 o’clock marker, A silver hand set occupies the centre of the dial. The hour hand comes in a syringe-style, while the minute  comes in an arrow-style. Both have been filled with lumbrite material. The Seiko 5 logo sits beneath the 12 o’clock marker. The Strap: The nylon strap imitates the colour of Boruto’s costume, with the black strap being brought to life by a vivid pink accents. It makes for an eye-catching design, which draws directly from the characters aesthetics. It fastens easily using a standard buckle. The Functions: The Seiko 5 Sports range boast Seiko’s new upgraded 4R36 automatic. It is the same movement that is found in more expensive Seiko models, such as the ‘Turtle’ that belongs to the Prospex range. The movement consists of 24 jewels and it operates at 21,600 beats per hour. This ensures the watch has 40 hours of power reserve. It includes Seiko Diashock, which essentially protects the inner mechanisms from any damage the watch may sustain if it were to be dropped or knocked. It is expected to either gain or loose between +45 / -35 seconds per day. Finally, this watch has a water resistance of 100 metres, making it suitable for swimming and snorkelling.
