The Case: The case of this Casio G-Shock AW-591MS-1AER is made out of a combination of resin and aluminium. It has been designed using G-Shock’s Patented Hollow Core Guard Structure which provides protection against impact and vibration. The case measures 46.4mm in diameter, which makes it one of G-Shock’s smaller cases. The case features a fixed bezel and four recessed push-buttons that are located at 2, 4, 8 and 10 o’clock. They can be used to engage with the dial and the functions of the watch. Hard scratch resistant mineral glass provides the watch with protection against scratches and shattering.  The Dial: The dial is presented in black and it is home to a range of functions. The analogical time is displayed through a silver sword-style handset which has been treated to a neobrite luminous coating, which provides illumination in the dark. The digital sub-dials present on the dial can be used to display the watch’s numerous functions. Around the very edge of the dial there is a 60-minute scale.  The Strap: The strap is made out of a black textile material, which ensures that it sits comfortably upon the wrist. It is easily adjustable and it fastens through the use of a standard buckle.  The Functions: This timepiece is powered by quartz mechanisms which offer an accuracy of +/-15 seconds per month and a battery life of approximately three years.
