The case features a fixed bezel and a crown at 3 o’clock that is protected by two raised crown guards which prevent the crown from being accidentally knocked out of place. The crown is embossed with the Hamilton ‘H’ logo and it has knurled edges, which ensure that it remains easily operable. Sapphire crystal glass provides the watch with optimum protection against scratches and shattering.  The Dial: The dial is presented in black and it prominently features military time, underlining the military heritage of the brand. The 12-hour time forms the outer dial, it is formatted using large white Arabic numerals. Alternatively, the 24-hour time forms the inner dial is presented using smaller Arabic numerals. A day-date display window is presented at 12 o’clock. A silver syringe handset extends out from the centre of the dial; it has been treated to a luminous coating, which ensures that the dial can be read in the dark. A 60-minute track is located around the chapter ring of the dial. The Strap: The strap is made out of cow leather and presented in a brown hue, with contrasting white stitches that run down the edge of the strap.
