Casio G-Shock Metal Twisted Solar Quartz Black Dial Black Resin Strap Mens Watch MTG-B1000XB-1AER  The Case: This Casio G-Shock MTG-B1000XB-1AER is protected by a new, highly resistant case that is made from reinforced carbon fibre, which offers higher rigidity than conventional resin while maintaining its lightweight. The case has been downsized so that it now measures 52mm in diameter. It features a new core guard structure that absorbs shocks with the exterior as opposed to the core; it does this by securely connecting the bezel, case back and band connection pieces. The case has been treated to a sallaz polished finish, which is said to be the ultimate polishing technology. It produces exceptionally smooth mirror-finished surfaces on sloping parts of metal products. On the side of the case there are numerous push buttons and a crown that has been knurled which allows it to be easily gripped. The G-Shock logo and the watch’s numerous functions are etched onto the fixed dial that exhibits a carbon fibre print. Domed sapphire crystal glass provides the highest level of scratch resistance, clarity and pressure resistance. The Dial: The dial has a strong visual impact thanks to its intricate design consisting of a combination of different textured finishes and the dashes of blue present across the dial. The chronograph style dial exhibits three sub-dials that display a 24-hour scale beneath the 12 o’clock marker, a 12-hour scale above the 6 o’clock marker and a battery life indicator that is located beside the 9 o’clock indicator. Raised baton-style hour markers are located around the edge of the dial, while a silver pencil style handset occupies the centre of the dial. The tips of the handset have been filled with a luminescent material which allows the dial to be read in the dark. A date display window is positioned in between the 4 and 5 o’clock marker, while the world time is displayed through the blue insert dial that is located at the edge of the dial. The Bracelet: The black bracelet is made from resin and stainless steel, this is a newly developed technique which provides the bracelet with greater reinforcement. It fastens securely around the wearer’s wrist through the use of a deployment clasp that exhibits the G-Shock logo. The Functions: This timepiece is solar powered and it has a maximum battery life of approximately 18 months. It provides an accuracy of around +/- 15 seconds per month. It offers a number useful complications such as: bluetooth connectivity, an alarm, a calendar, an LED illumination, a power saving mode and a stopwatch function.
