Junghans Max Bill MEGA Kleine Sekunde Edition Set 60 Quartz White Dial Beige Leather Strap Men’s Watch 58/4100.02 The Case: This Junghans Max Bill MEGA Kleine Sekunde Edition Set 60 58/4100.02 features a polished stainless steel case that is presented with a dark anthracite PVD coating. The case measures just 38mm in diameter and it has a refined design which consists of a fixed bezel, short lugs and a crown that is located at 3 o’clock on the side of the case. This understated style of design is atypical of Max Bill’s own Bauhaus-informed take on industrial design. The case is completed by the anti-reflective sapphire crystal which ensures that the watch remains always readable and protected against scratches and shattering. On the back of the case there is a solid case back, with Max Bill’s signature engraved into it.  The Dial: The Max Bill MEGA Kleine Sekunde has a clean and uncomplicated design that pays homage to the design codes of the Bauhaus movement. Around the edge of the dial there are black elongated hour markers, with the 12 o’clock marker being presented in orange. The hour markers are interspersed by shorter grey minute markers and marked by green luminescent pips at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. Junghans signature luminescent twin pips at 12 o’clock which are integrated into the number 60 which denotes the 60th anniversary of Bill’s famous design. The anthracite pencil-style hour and minute hands have sharp tips, and are filled with orange lume. A 60-seconds counter is presented at 6 o’clock on the dial, it follows the same design motifs of the dial. Completing the dial\'s refined design is the beveled day-display window that is located beside the 3 o’clock marker. The Strap: A calf leather strap in a warm beige grey, blends harmoniously with the high-contrast presentation and pairs the colouring in a perfectly balanced display. It fastens securely around the wrist through a stainless steel buckle that has the Junghans logo engraved into it.  The Functions: The Junghans Max Bill MEGA Kleine Sekunde is powered by Junghans state-of-the-art quartz caliber J101.66 movement. It connects to the world\'s most accurate radio-controlled clocks. It operates using an Intelligent Time Correction system that performs a time correction test 1,440 times a day using the last radio frequency signal as its reference. This provides the watch with an astounding accuracy of +/- 0.2 seconds per year. It is water resistant up to 30 metres, which means it should not be exposed to anything more than light splashes of water.  This watch is one of three watches that form the Junghans Max Bill Edition Set 60 collection, which celebrates 60 years since the release of the first line of mechanical watches designed by Max Bills. This year Junghans are celebrating this anniversary with the release of an exclusive collector’s trio of watches: Limited to just 1,060 units worldwide, the aptly named max bill Edition Set 60 comprises three very different timepieces. Although each watch comes in its own box, they are collectively presented in a commemorative special edition box.
