Swatch MoMA Hope, II By Gustav Klimt, The Watch Quartz Plastic Strap Unisex Watch GZ349  The Case: This Swatch MomA Hope, II by Gustav Klimt GZ349 features a circular case that measures 34mm in diameter. It is made out of transparent plastic and it features: a fixed bezel, a golden crown at 3 o’clock and acrylic glass.  The Dial: The striking design of the dial is taken from Gustav Klimt’s, Hope, II. Klimt was an Austrian symbolist artist who gained early notoriety as a painter of architectural decorations. He later became renowned for his portraits and sensual images of the female body. Hope, II was painted between 1907-08 and it depicts a famed portrait of a sensuous female figure that is pregnant. The painting is made out of oil, gold and platinum. The dial also exhibits a gold baton-style handset and the Swatch logo that is presented in white beneath the 12 o’clock marker.  The Strap:  The strap is made out of plastic and it also exhibits the colourful decorative motifs from Klimt’s painting. It fastens through the use of a plastic standard buckle.  The Functions:  This timepiece is powered by highly reliable Swiss made quartz movement. It is water resistant to 30 metres, which means that it should not be exposed to anything more than light splashes of water.
