The Case: Seiko Astron Watch SSJ012J1 GPS Solar Quartz Leather Strap Watch features a case that is made from stainless steel with a super hard coating that has been treated to a brushed finish. The case measures 39mm in diameter and 11mm in thickness. It exhibits a fixed blue bezel that is made from ceramic, which is a material that is favourably used by luxury watch brands due to its superlative scratch and shatter resistance. The case also consists: of a screw down crown at 3 o’clock, a screw case back, bevelled lugs and sapphire crystal glass with a super-clear coating.  The Dial: The dial is presented in a deep blue hue with silver accents. Applied silver baton-style hour markers are interspersed by a 60-minute track which is located on the dial’s chapter ring. In the centre of the dial there is an arrow/sword style handset which has a silver frame with a luminescent filling, which enables nighttime readability. A date-display window is located beside the 3 o’clock marker, whilst the Seiko logo is presented in silver beneath the 12 o’clock marker.  The Strap: The black strap is made out of soft leather, which has a subtle textured appearance. The strap fastens through the use of a three-fold deployment clasp. The Functions: This timepiece is powered by caliber 3X22 GPS solar quartz which provides this watch with an accuracy of +/- 15 seconds per month.
