Sekonda Sports Quartz Blue Dial Black Rubber Strap Mens Watch 1709 The Case: The Sekonda 1709 is a multi-functional sports watch that combines style and practicality. The case is made from polished stainless steel and it measures 45mm in diameter. A blue fixed bezel is positioned on top of the case, it exhibits a 60-minute scale with increments of 10 minutes.  At the side of the case there is an enlarged push/pull crown that is positioned beside the 3 o’clock marker. Two push-buttons are located either side of the crown guards, these buttons provide access to the chronograph functions. Mineral crystal glass is used which provides the watch with superlative levels of protection from scratches and shattering.  The Dial: The blue dial exhibits three sub-dials that display a 12-hour scale, a 60-minute scale and 24-hour scale. Around the outside of the dial there are silver baton-style hour markers, as well as a 60-minute track. In the centre of the dial there is a silver framed pencil-style handset which has a luminescent filling, to allow the dial to be read in the dark. The red arrow tipped second hand can be used to display the dual time complication. A date-display window is located in between the 4 and 5 o’clock markers, while a 60-minute scale is displayed on the chapter ring. The Sekonda logo is presented in white beside the 12 o’clock marker. The Strap: The black strap is made from flexible rubber which is the ideal material for a sports watch, because it is easy to maintain and wash. The strap fastens using a standard metal buckle which has the Sekonda logo etched into it. The Functions: Japanese made quartz mechanisms power this timepiece, ensuring that it remains reliable and accurate.
