It is made from circular brushed aluminium and it measures 25cm in diameter. Hardened mineral crystal glass protects the dial from shattering and scratches.  The Dial:  The design of the dial remains loyal to the design codes of the Bauhaus movement, the German school of design that inspired the design of the face of the Mondaine Classic Swiss Railways. The white dial is characterised by its clean and simplistic design; a 60-minute scale and 12-hour markers are presented around the edge of the dial in silver. An elegant silver baton-style handset occupies the centre of the dial, while trademark red second hand is also present on the dial, which ties the piece back to its Swiss Railway Clock roots.
