Seiko 5 Sports Field Automatic Blue Dial Black Leather Strap Mens Watch SRPG39K1 The Case: The Seiko 5 Sports Field SRPG39K1 features a robust circular stainless steel case that measures 39mm in diameter and has been treated to a brushed finish. The case bears a simple layout, which appeals to the aesthetics of a class field watch. It is made up of a fixed bezel, a push/pull crown at 3 o’clock and curved hardlex crystal glass that provides the watch with protection against scratches and shattering. It also features a see-through caseback, which allows the wearer to view the inner workings of the watch.  The Dial: The SRPG39K1 exhibits a blue dial with a sunburst effect and a utilitarian layout. It features a 12/24 hour format, with the 12-hour scale being presented through bold gold Arabic numerals and the 24-hour scale being presented through smaller white Arabic numerals. A 60-minute scale is located on the chapter ring of the dial, with luminescent markers present at each 5-minute increment enabling the dial to be read in the dark. Additionally, a day-date display window replaces the 3 o’clock marker. A gold baton-style handset is filled with Seiko’s lumibrite material, whilst the seconds hand has an orange pointed tip. The Seiko 5 Sports label is positioned neatly beneath the 24-hour marker. The Strap: The watch comes presented on a soft black leather strap with contrasting white stitching and a crocodile style pattern. The strap fastens through the use of a stainless steel buckle that is signed with the Seiko logo. The Functions: Seiko’s exclusive 4R36 automatic movement powers this timepiece. It is a self-winding movement with manual-winding capacity and hacking-seconds features. This movement has a 41 hour power, it consists of 23 jewels and it beats at 21,600vph.
