Seiko Prospex Save The Ocean Great White \'Turtle\' Blue Dial Stainless Steel Bracelet Men\'s Watch SRPD21K1  The Case: The Seiko Prospex Save The Ocean Great White \'Turtle\' SRPD21K1 case measures 45mm in diameter and is made from solid stainless steel. The watch’s nickname derives from its cushion style diver’s case and its similarity to the shell of a turtle. An oversized screw down crown is present besides the 4 o’clock mark, it is protected by a crown guard, which bolsters the functionality of this watch. A distinctive uni-directional aluminium rotating bezel sits on top of the case, it is stylised in the ‘Pepsi’ colours of blue and red. A 60-minute scale is engraved into bezel, to allow the wearer to keep track of time spent under water. The luminescent pip situated at the 12 o’clock mark makes it easier for the 60-minute scale to be read underwater. On the back of the case there is a see-through case back, which allows the wearer to view the inner mechanisms of the watch. The Dial: The gradient blue dial has been decorated with thick wavy lines to evoke the ocean. Besides the 8 o\'clock marker the wearer can also spot the dorsal fin of a shark. The simplistic layout of the dial ensures optimum legibility and avoids the risk of any complications. The dial consists of bold hour markers that have been filled with a luminescent material, allowing the wearer to read the time in the dark. As well as a unique handset that is made up of a syringe-style hour marker and a red arrow-style second hand. Additional useful features present on the dial include a day-date window that replaces the 3 o’clock marker and 60-minute scale chapter ring. Hardlex crystal protects the dial. The Bracelet: The silver bracelet of the watch is made from highly durable stainless steel, that has been finished using a brushing technique. It comes in the style of an oyster bracelet, which is associated with the Rolex brand. It fastens using a three fold clasp with a secure lock, to ensure that it remains safely upon the wearer’s wrist. The Functions: Seiko’s exclusive 4R36 automatic movement powers this timepiece. It is a self-winding calibre with manual-winding capacity and a hacking-seconds features. This movement has an incredible 41 hour power reserve which means you can take it off your wrist for the weekend whilst you relax. It consists of 23 jewels and it beats at 21,600vph. This watch has a water resistance of 200 metres, making it suitable for diving.
