Seiko Prospex Diver\'s Recreation Blue Dial Black Silicone Strap Men\'s Automatic Watch SPB053J1 The Case: This bold and bulky stainless steel case of this Seiko Prospex SPB053J1 measures 42.5mm in diameter and 14mm in height, it has been covered in Seiko’s Dia-Shield, which is a proprietary coating which is designed to repel minor scratches and abrasions. There is plenty of contrasting finishing throughout the case, which supplies the watch with its distinctive sheen. For example, the top of the lugs have been finished using a brushed technique. Zaratsu polishing is also present throughout the side of case, which gives the case its watch mirror like finish. The Dial: A sunburst blue dial produces a dynamic color and appearance that is varied by ambient lighting. It is completed by large lume filled indexes and hands which allow for easy visibility at night or the depths of the ocean.
