The timepiece was worn by both Captain Rafe McCawley as played by Ben Affleck and Captain Danny Walker, as played by Josh Hartnett. The film starts with childhood friends Rafe and Danny becoming army pilots and meet Evelyn, a navy nurse. However, the three of them later find themselves in the middle of the attack on Pearl Harbour during World War II.
