Seiko 5 Sports Brian May x Limited Edition \"Red Special\" Automatic Guitar Dial Black Military Nylon Strap Mens Watch SRPE83K1 The Seiko Brian May Limited Edition SRPE83K1 is part of the iconic Seiko 5 Sports family, with only 9,000 pieces being produced with this limited piece they will surely be in high demand.  The Case: The case is made from stainless steel which provides the dial with both protection and class. The case features a raised guard which protects the crown from any knocks as well as being located at the four o\'clock position which reduces the chance of it being hit. On top of the case is a black uni-directional bezel which can be spun to help you time an activity. The glass is made from a hardlex crystal compound which provides the dial with even more protection. When the case is flipped onto its back an exhibition window can be looked through to see all the intricate details of the piece. Brian\'s signature is also on top of the window in a golden font as well as the words \'Limited Edition\'. The Strap: The watch comes fitted with a black nylon military strap. The nylon material provides a comfortable feel which can be secured using a standard buckle. The strap has a lug width of 20mm which is a standard size for any timepiece. Much like the dial the strap is themed to look like Brian\'s guitar strap. The Dial & Functions: The dial itself is inspired by Brian Mays \"Red Special\" guitar. The actual guitar itself was built by hand by Brian and his father. The guitar holds a special place in Brian\'s heart! It was carved from wood of an old fireplace, the body is made from blockboard with an ancient oak insert and covered with mahogany veneer which Brain stained and polished himself. Just like the guitar, Brian has relied on Seiko watches for the best part of 40 years and was often seen sporting a Seiko diver watch. He purchased his first Seiko in Japan whilst touring with Queen in the 1970\'s. There are echoes of his beloved guitar with the same red and black theme, it features the guitar silhouette on the left-hand side with a wood grain effect pattern throughout the red part. The iconic name \"Red Special\" text has been added to the dial making this a truly unique piece.   With a caliber 4R36 automatic 24 jewel movement which promises 21,600 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of 41 hours. The hands and indexes have a Lumibrite coating making them visible in the dark.   The watch is presented in a one of a kind \"Red Special\" flight case which Brain May used throughout his career.
