The case is made from stainless steel which as mentioned gives the dial class and protection. On-top of the case is a black countdown bezel with red accents which can be set by twisting it anti-clockwise to select your desired length of time. The bezel of the watch is elaborately coated according to the so-called \"ion plating\" process and offers the advantage of increased scratch resistance.   The case is inline with the glass which is made from mineral crystal. This glass has scratch resistant properties as well as allowing for a water resistance rating of 100 metres, suitable for swimming and snorkelling. The chronographs allow for a stopwatch function which can be controlled through buttons on the side of the case. The stopwatch has an accuracy up to a tenth of a second with a measuring capacity of an hour, great for timing a run in the park.
