This timepiece features a 44mm brushed stainless steel case with a screwed down case back. The side of the case is engraved with a ‘1 of 1957’, which commemorates the year of inception of the Helvetica font and also the fact that it is Mondaine’s first smartwatch. On the other side of the case there is a push-down crown at 3 o’clock, which allows the wearer to interact with the watch. The design of the lugs is another extension of the number ‘1’ motif, as they are designed to look like two number ones touching each other. Sapphire crystal glass also provides the watch with optimum protection against scratches and shattering.  The Dial: The silver dial exhibits a combination of embossed hour markers and Arabic numeral hour markers that are both presented in black. The indices are interspersed by square minute markers, which forms a 60-minute track. The refined design of the dial is underscored by the minimalist black baton-style handset. There is a white sub-dial at 6 o’clock which syncs with the state-of-the-art MotionX technology on your smart device to track sleep, date, and activity. The Mondaine logo is presented in the famous Helvetica typography beneath the 12 o’clock marker.  The Strap: The watch is complete with a black leather strap, giving the watch a clean sophisticated look. It fastens through the use of a standard metal buckle.  The Functions:  This Mondaine Smartwatch is powered by Swiss-made smart Motion-X technology that interfaces with your smartphone or tablet which allows for: activity tracking, Sleeptracker sleep monitoring, sleep cycle alarms, get-active alerts, adaptive coaching and automatic time alignment. It has a battery life of 2+ years. It is water resistant to 30 metres, which means that it should not be exposed to anything more than light splashes of water.
