Seiko 5 Sports Automatic Black Dial Black Leather Strap Men’s Watch SRPD65K3 The Case: The Seiko 5 Sports Mens Watch SRPD65K3 is part of the 2019 Seiko 5 Sports collection, this timepiece is exclusively sold by Watchnation. It is crafted out of stainless steel and it measures 42mm in width. It is presented in a gunmetal grey hue and it has been treated to a mixture of brushed and polished finishes. The watch’s unidirectional rotating bezel is made from aluminium; it exhibits a 60-minute scale and it has coined edges that allow for it to be easily rotated. A screw-down crown is located next to the 4 o’clock position on the side of the dial, this allows the watch to sit comfortably as it prevents the crown from digging into the wrist. On the back of the watch there is a see-through caseback which provides the wearer an insight into the mechanisms that power the watch. Both the front and back of the watch are protected by hardlex crystal glass. The Dial: The matte black dial utilises an uncomplicated layout to ensure that it can be easily read. It exhibits silver-framed hour markers and a bold handset that consists of an arrow-style hour marker and a syringe-style minute hand. Both the hour markers and the handset have been filled with LumiBrite material, which allows the dial to be read in the dark. A day-date display replaces the 3 o’clock marker, while the Seiko 5 Sport logo is positioned beneath the 12 o’clock marker. The Strap: This timepiece comes equipped with a black leather-rubber strap that has a subtle alligator style design. The leather-rubber strap provides the watch with a distinctive style and durability. A standard metal Seiko-signed buckle secures the watch around the wrist. The Functions: The watch is powered by calibre 4R36 movement, which provides an accuracy rating of +45 to -35 seconds per day. The power reserve for this calibre is around the 40 hour mark, allowing you to take it off for the weekend. Also when the crown is pulled out a hack feature means that the second hand will come to a stop. Finally, this watch has a water resistance of 100 metres, making it suitable for swimming and snorkelling.
