Seiko 5 Sports Automatic Gunmetal Grey Dial Gunmetal Grey Stainless Steel Bracelet Men’s Watch SRPD65K1 The Case: The Seiko 5 Sports Mens Watch SRPD65K1 is part of the 2019 Seiko 5 Sports collection, it is crafted out of stainless steel and it measures 42mm in width. It is presented in a gunmetal grey hue and it has been treated to a mixture of brushed and polished finishes. The watch’s unidirectional rotating bezel is made from aluminium; it exhibits a 60-minute scale and it has coined edges that allow for it to be easily rotated. A screw-down crown is located next to the 4 o’clock position on the side of the dial, this allows the watch to sit comfortably as it prevents the crown from digging into the wrist. On the back of the watch there is a see-through caseback which provides the wearer an insight into the mechanisms that power the watch. A day-date display replaces the 3 o’clock marker, while the Seiko 5 Sport logo is positioned beneath the 12 o’clock marker. The Bracelet: The gunmetal grey bracelet of the watch is made from highly durable stainless steel, that has been finished using a brushing technique. This creates a subtle, but welcomed, contrast between the polishing of the case and the brushing of the bracelet. It comes in the style of an oyster bracelet, which is associated with the Rolex brand. It fastens using a three fold clasp. The Functions: The watch is powered by calibre 4R36 movement, which provides an accuracy rating of +45 to -35 seconds per day. The power reserve for this calibre is around the 40 hour mark, allowing you to take it off for the weekend. Also when the crown is pulled out a hack feature means that the second hand will come to a stop. Finally, this watch has a water resistance of 100 metres, making it suitable for swimming and snorkelling.
