It dates back to 1913 with the release of the Laurel. This was Japan\'s first ever wrist watch. This heritage is brought to life through watches whose design echoes that of the 1913 Laurel and whose dials are made in the finest traditions of Japanese artistry. Presage is a collection of broad appeal. It comprises 60 models and uses the full range of Seiko’s mechanical calibers. From the accessible 4R, through 6R to the exclusive 8R. Highlights include the 6R27 multi-hand power reserve model and a series using an entirely new version of the 4R57 caliber. Every Presage watch has 10 bar water resistance and a sapphire crystal. The Brand: Seiko Seiko’s story began in 1881 with the opening of a clock shop in Tokyo, it’s owner was Kintaro Hattori. Then, eleven years after the opening of his shop, Hattori opened a clock factory with ten employees. It was in 1895 that they began to produce pocket watches. Soon followed by alarm clocks in 1899, and then table clocks in 1902. Then in 1913 Hattori began working on his first wristwatch. The in 1924, 43 years after the initial opening, the brand Seiko was born with the creation of the first Seiko wristwatch.
