Seiko Presage Cocktail Time Automatic Champagne Dial Brown Leather Strap Mens Watch SSA387J1 The Seiko Presage Watch SSA387J1 Cocktail Time  is inspired by the Japanese cocktail culture in Tokyo’s sophisticated Ginza area. It is particularly inspired by the Japanese tradition of finishing the working day by having a chat over a cocktail. The design of the watch\'s are inspired by the drinks mixed by Hisashi Kishi, head bartender and owner of Star Bar in Tokyo’s Ginza area and a past winner of the International Bar Association World Championships. The Case: The Seiko Presage Watch SSA387J1 Cocktail Time measures 40.5mm in diameter and the elegant case is made from stainless steel. The case comes presented in a classic dress watch style as its circular highly polished design epitomises sleek minimalism. A flared crown is present at the 3 o’clock position on the edge of the dial, it has been embossed with the Seiko logo, adding to traditional appeal of this timepiece. Box shaped hardlex is embedded into the case, which is another feature that is reminiscent of traditional dress watches. The Dial: The most alluring feature of this timepiece is the illusive cream textured dial that features a sophisticated radiant design, which gives the dial its defining shimmer. The dial employs a simplistic layout with applied bevelled golden hour markers and a beveled dauphine style handset taking centre stage. The dial also features a power reserve display that can be seen between the 12 and 4 o’clock position of the dial. A date register displays is positioned above the 6 o’clock mark. This subtle sub-dial displays the date by utilising a circular scale from 1-31. The Seiko logo is presented beneath the 12 o’clock marker. The Strap: The brown strap is made from calf leather which gives the watch a genuine vintage, while still allowing it to remain sat comfortably on the wearer\'s wrist. It is a material that is known its durability too. The watch features an adjust strap and fastens using a silver three-fold clasp with push button release The Function: This timepiece is powered by Seiko’s 4R57 calibre movement, this supplies the watch with a battery life of approximately 41 hours. This automatic movement also has an accuracy of +45 / -35 seconds per day, it offers the ability of hand winding too.
