The 1975 watch, truely was ahead of its time, being the worlds first divers watch with a titanium case. This feat was achieved through a world-class corrosion proof, shock resistant airtight case. Furthermore, the timepiece was nicknamed as the \'tuna\' due to a ridged casing resembling that of a tuna can. As part of the new street series, it is recognised by its grey circular stainless steel and plastic case to go with a grey silicone strap. In terms of the grey dial, the ever present Seiko logo can be found just below the 12 o\'clock index. Replacing the 4 o\'clock index is a simplistic date display window. Sat just above the 6 o\'clock index is the \'X\' logo, showing that this timepiece is part of the Prospex family. Labelled just below this logo is the labelled movement of solar. Solar movement works by converting solar energy from all types of light sources into electrical energy to drive the watch. The watch also takes advantage of a power reserve to keep the timepiece ticking during the night or tucked under a sleeve. This reliable V157 automatic movement has a solid operating duration of approximately 10 months when fully charged. Both the hands and indexes are coated with LumiBrite, to provide easy visibility in dark situations. This sleek and simplistic dial is protected by the robust hardlex crystal glass.  This watch has a labelled water resistancy of 200 metres or 20 ATM.
