Look no further than the cambered square design of the case that imitates the the sensual curves of the race cars of the 1930’s. This case is embellished by the tortoise style acetate design, that encapsulates the classic and charming appeal of the ‘preppy’ style that Briston envisions. Not only is the cellulose acetate alluring, it is also a natural, anti-allergic substance. The deployment of 2.3mm thick domed mineral glass also bestows this timepiece with an authentic vintage-feeling look, which supplements the watch’s timeless demeanour. The Dial: The sun-ray British green design of the dial takes centre stage. It bears a resemblance to the circular grill on the front of a 1930s race car. The white numerals, indices and date window are sunken into the dial, due to the two-tiered dial design, this gives the dial a profound appearance. The addition of a rhodium plated sword style hand set has been utilised to maintain long term brightness and shine, as it is a superior decorative finish to gold or silver.
