Briston Clubmaster Iconic Automatic Men\'s Watch 18740.SA.TI.1.LVC The Case: Perfectly smooth, polished, powerful and a feast for the eyes, the voluptuous Briston Clubmaster Iconic 18740.SA.TI.1.LVC draws inspiration from the race cars of the 1960s. Look no further than the 40mm cambered square design of the case that imitates the curvature of the race cars of the 1960’s. This case is embellished by the tortoise style acetate design, that encapsulates the classic and charming appeal of the ‘preppy’ style that Briston envisions. Not only is the cellulose acetate alluring, it is also a natural, anti-allergic substance. On the flip-side of the case is a transparent window which gives a view on the movement decorated with “Côte de Genève” rotor. The deployment of 2mm thick sapphire crystal glass also bestows this timepiece with an authentic vintage-feeling look, which supplements the watch’s timeless demeanour. This glass in particular is well-known for its ultra resistance from scratches and marks. The knurled silver crown exhibits Briston’s multifaceted approach to providing the wearer with a watch that does not just look good, but feels good too. The Dial: The dial has a discrete and elegant style with an opened window on the mechanism positioned at the nine o\'clock position. This allows a small peek into all the intricate detailing that has gone in to power this watch. The black dial is complemented by polished rhodium indexes and Dauphine styled hands. Moreover,  the silver detailing is also present through the Briston logo and \'Clubmaster\' family at the top and bottom of the dial respectively. The Strap: A vintage leather in matte black sits comfortably around the wrist. The strap has an easy interchange function allowing you to create your own unique style! This strap in particular has a width of 20mm which is known as a standard size, allowing you to choose from a whole host of straps. On either side of the strap is two lines of stitching which yet again harks back to the heritage of Briston watches. The strap can then be adjust up to a length of 11.5cm using a standard buckle to sit comfortably around your wrist. The Functions: This timepiece is powered by an automatic NH38A caliber movement. The movement is produced by the watch leaders Seiko which instantly makes it a piece you can rely on. The movement compromises of 24 jewels as well as beating at a rate of 21,600 per hour. The power reserve has been measured at an average of 41 hours which allows you to rest it for the weekend for a busy week ahead. Then, the movement is rounded of with a hacking feature. This feature allows the second hand to stop when the crown is pulled out for ultimate precision. Finally, the watch has a water resistance of 50 metres, making it suitable for surface swimming.
