When Danish adventurer and businessman René Kaerskov parachuted into the Arctic in 2008, he had no idea that his descent would spark a new era. As he approached the most northerly point of the globe, Kaerskov was awestruck by the simple beauty and infinite white expanse of the seemingly endless ice sheets.
