The Case: The case of the Hamilton American Classic PSR MTX Watch H52434130 carries the traditional rectangle with curved edge style that can be seen in the original Hamilton American Classic PSR. It measures 40,8 x 34.7mm and is made from stainless steel, coated with a black PVD coating. Turning the watch over, the case back features an iconic digital rain décor pattern that film fanatics will appreciate. If you look closely, you will see the brand name, ‘swiss made’, model number, ‘water resistant’ and ‘limited edition’ amongst the symbols. The Dial: In contrast to the dark case, the digital LCD dial has a dark green hue and OLED hybrid display. The Liquid Crystal Display allows the watch to be visible at any time during the day. On the other hand, the Organic Light Emitting Diodes can be used by pressing the button on the side of the case, bringing up high-contrast numerals in the classic dot style. These displays mean that there is no need for a back-light bringing the energy consumption of the quartz movement right down. The glass is sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating as well.
