The case exhibits an understated design through the adoption of a fixed bezel and a decorative push/pull crown at 3 o’clock that has been embossed with the Hamilton logo. The case’s bevelled edges are an indication of the quality of the craftsmanship behind this timepiece. The sapphire crystal glass has an anti-reflective coating which ensures that the dial always remains readable.  The Dial: The vibrant smoked blue dial draws the eye towards the precision cutouts of the Jazzmaster Open Heart. The aperture reveals the complex inner workings that bring the watch to life. The dial is also embellished by silver polished dagger style hour markers that are interspersed by a 60-second track. An elongated alpha style handset extends out from the centre of the dial, it has been coated with a luminescent material that enables the dial to be read in the dark.
