Casio Collection Quartz Black Dial Black Resin Strap W-217H-1AVEF The Case: This Casio Collection W-217H-1AVEF features an octagonal case that is made out of resin that is presented in matte black. It measures 51mm in width and on the side of the case there are three push buttons located at 4, 8 and 10 o’clock, which provide the wearer with access to the stopwatch function, the mode setting and the illumination display. The glass is made out of resin, which provides the watch with resistance against shattering and scratching.  The Dial: The dial is presented in a black with a digital display window in the centre. The time can be displayed in either a 12/24 hour format and the day/date is also displayed on the digital display window. The dial can be illuminated through electro-luminescence, which lights up the dial through the use of the pushbutton at 10 o’clock.  The Strap:  The classic strap is made out of resin and presented in a matte black tone. It fastens through the use of a standard buckle.  The Functions: This timepiece is powered by quartz mechanisms, which offer an accuracy of +/- 30 seconds per month and a battery life of 7 years. The watch also features an automatic calendar which when set will always display the correct date and a stopwatch function.
