Other Monk cheese is a Camembert style, raw milk, British artisan cheese with a white bloom which is firm and chalky when young and becomes soft and creamy as it ripens. Other Monk is so called because it was the 'other' cheese the Monkland Dairy were developing at the same time as their Blue Monk, this is made down the road from our Leominster shop.
