Please note each cheese is cut to 200g by hand, therefore the weights listed are approximate. We work very hard to cut them as accurately as we can! Pack includes Petit Langres AOC Weight: 180g. Petit Langres AOC is a SOFT, succulent, creamy Champagne de Marc washed rind cheese with a firm, dense silky interior. Drum shaped with an indented top, also known as "fontaine". This allows the brine to pool in the crater of the cheese, and seep slowly into the interior of the cheese to give it its richer consistency, pungent nose and fruity flavour. Pairing Suggestion - LEMON CHEESE PRESERVE The individual cheese weighs 180g. Rachel Weight: 200g. Rachel is a semi-firm goats cheese with a lightly washed rind with subtle sweet and nutty lingering flavours. As the cheese matures it is washed regularly in a brine solution which gives it its pinky rind with occasional neon orange and yellow spots. Rachel is a delightfully fragrant cheese, for those who enjoy a cheese that is not too strong or overly ‘goaty’ on the palate. A full flavoured, creamy blue cheese, with a lingering finish and a rich, salty tang. Bleu des Causses AOC is similar to Blue d'Auvergne, but is firmer, creamier in texture and has a spicier flavour. Gouda is a semi soft cow’s milk cheese from the Netherlands, named after the town where it was originally traded. GOUDA is traditionally made in flat wheels, each with a thin natural rind. It has a smooth and ivory coloured interior. GOUDA is one of the oldest European cheeses and has been a popular cheese since the 12th century. It was so popular that it was shipped to France and further afield and has been produced in several different countries. Gouda with Truffles is an unusual creamy, washed curd, Gouda cheese with the addition of chopped black Italian Truffles that blend perfectly with the texture of the cheese. Mrs Kirkhams Traditional Lancashire Weight: 200g. Mrs Kirkhams Traditional Lancashire is a rich, hard pressed full fat traditional crumbly style Lancashire with a very individual character. The cheeses' flavours are sharp and citrusy, with a lingering Lancashire tang. An excellent melting cheese that progresses to a soft, silky, custard-like texture when cooked. This is lovely grilled on toast. Pairing Suggestion - DRIVERS CUCUMBER RELISH Mrs Kirkhams Traditional Lancashire comes as a half wheel which weighs approx 2.5kg Pave Cobble Weight: 200g. A gorgeous little cheese with a unique truncated shape and a soft, springy texture that becomes meltingly creamy with age. Pale silver in appearance due to the cheese being coated lightly in ash to create the geotrichum rind and leave a very subtle peppery undertone, boasting a delicious rind that becomes dominated by blues and greens as it ages. The initial flavours of sweet cream followed by nutty notes and a soft tasting, rich, opulent and smooth flavour - developing more complexity when aged.
