Meaty, flavourful and when presented like ours, super easy to serve. If you\'re entertaining, a surprise snails starter always gets the conversation going. They can be served on their own as the garlic butter is the only necessary accompaniment. However a few inches of baguette would never go amiss. Various paraphernalia to help with eating the snails is widely available (at prices between next to nothing and preposterous). I have to say that this does have a role, but a deftly wielded fork will normally do the job if you\'re OK holding the snail...
