A legendary vintage of Glenmorangie, the Sauternes Wood Finish was distilled in 1981 and bottled in 2002 having spent 2 years finishing in Chateau d\'Yquem casks, the first Glenmorangie ever to be matured in white wine casks. Bottled at a strength of 46% abv. Nose: hints of wild berry fruits combine with a hint of apple crumble and custard and some long lasting vanilla notes Palate: caramel, vanilla ice cream and a touch of orange zest combine beautifully. Finish: a touch of banana, oak and a slight dryness.
