The majority of businesses have closed down and many have retreated to the villages, living on basics rations. I met with one local artisan who was selling these beautiful handmade fabrics, but each day had no customer to sell to! But I thought what a beautiful masks they would make! At least if I could commission her to make 100 pieces, it would help her and her family.. and make wearing masks seem so much more friendlier than just plain black!
